Two hanging memorial lamps for synagogue use. [Gibraltar], one dated 1862, the other presumably from the late 19th century.
Silver, cast, cut, pierced, repoussé and engraved (unmarked).
1. Memorial lamp with domed canopy decorated with vegetal motifs, central hoop suspended from three silver chains. Engraved dedication on the hoop, pertaining to members of the Pariente family, dated Shevat 5622 [1862].
Height: 60 cm. Diameter of central hoop: 15.5 cm. Max. width: 19 cm. Good condition. Some chain links detached at top (possibly remnants of additional supporting chains).
2. Memorial lamp suspended by four silver chains attached to a pierced central hoop with repeating design. Engraved dedication members of the Pariente family.
Height: approx. 38 cm. Diameter of hoop: 17 cm. Max. width: 21 cm. Overall good condition. Minor bends to some chain links. Lacking Canopy (presumably missing).
Both lamps lacking glass cups.

Hanging memorial lamp for the Synagogue. Morocco, 5682 [1922].
Silver, pierced and engraved (apparently unmarked).
Large and ornate memorial lamp, intended for synagogue use, dedicated to Shmuel ibn Mergui. The lamp consists of three main components connected by chains:
1. Dome-shaped upper hanger.
2. Broad hoop suspended from the hanger by five thick chains composed of large silver links, attached to five large hooks with plant-patterned designs, affixed to the hoop.
3. Bowl-like base (to support glass oil cup), decorated with pierced vegetal designs, suspended from the central hoop by chains.
An inscription, in openwork letters, appears in two lines on the central hoop, dedicating the lamp to the memory of R. Shmuel ibn Mergui, dated [5682 = 1922].
Height: approx. 105 cm, maximum width: approx. 40 cm. Overall good condition. Some silver links missing at chain junctions with hooks or upper hanger. Some joints slightly loose. Lacking glass oil cup.

Silver, cut, pierced and engraved (marked with Moroccan fineness marks, in use since October 1925); chased work; sheet metal, cut.
Memorial lamp with arched backplate, decorated with vegetal patterns and a seven-branched menorah. Dedicatory inscription for Esther Assoudri is pierced at top. Two oil cups with pinched spouts at bottom; beneath them, a drip tray with undulating front. Low side panels, decorated with matching pattern. Thin metal sheet affixed to back.
Height: 27 cm, Width: 17 cm, Depth: 8 cm. Overall good condition. Some bends and minor breaks; break to one side wall. Some rust to metal sheet. Old soldering repairs. Some original pins and connecting rods missing or replaced with makeshift joints.

Three Sabbath lamps. [Afghanistan, late 19th or early 20th century].
Silver, cast, repoussé and engraved (unmarked).
1. Double Sabbath lamp, composed of two oil cups with pinched spouts, mounted on legs with a rectangular base and three smaller legs. Each oil cup is a separate, detachable unit, connected by a central rod surmounted by a Star of David ornament.
Height: 12 cm. Width: 13.5 cm, depth: 9 cm. Good condition.
2. Single Sabbath lamp, consisting of an oil cup with a pinched spout, mounted on a stem with a round base. A tall rod is soldered to the rear of the base, decorated with vegetal motifs and topped with a Star of David ornament.
Height: 11 cm, maximum width: 8.5 cm. Good condition. Minor bends and some corrosion.

Two Kiddush cups with matching saucers. Uzbekistan (Bukhara), Iran or vicinity, [late 19th or early 20th century].
Silver, repoussé and engraved (unmarked).
1. Kiddush cup shaped as a bowl, resting on a short stem and circular base, and a matching saucer on a similarly short stem with a fancy base, decorated with matching vegetal motifs. Additional bird motifs appear on the cup. Inscribed for
"Yissachar son of Rahamim" (for full see inscription see Hebrew description).

Total height (cup and saucer): 8.5 cm, saucer diameter: 12.5 cm. Good condition. Minor breaks, dents, and a few missing silver pieces.
2. Small bowl-shaped cup on a raised circular base, and a matching saucer with a raised rim. Decorated with vegetal and geometric motifs; bearing dedication inscriptions (inscribed and repoussé; see Hebrew description).
Total height (cup and saucer): 5.5 cm, saucer diameter: 13.5 cm. Good condition. Minor breaks and dents.

Square base and shaft; main section shaped as a single-story tower with surrounding balcony, surmounted by a tall pointed spire topped with a long pole, a flag, and two spherical ornaments.
Entire surface decorated with pierced vegetal patterns, characteristic of Eastern European (Galician) silversmithing.
Spice compartment closed with a pointed-arch door on a hinge, containing a bell. Another (detached) bell located in the spire. Four small flags atop the spice compartment and an additional flag at the tip of the pole.
Height: 29.5 cm, max width: 7 cm. Overall good condition. Minor breaks, bends, and old soldering repairs. Bell in spire detached.

Spice container with square base resting on animal-form legs, each ending in clawed feet grasping a ball. The central section is fashioned as a multi-tiered tower, topped with a bell tower, onion-shaped dome, topped with a finial, a flag and a lion-shaped ornament (likely a later addition).
Height: 25 cm, maximum width: 6.5 cm. Fair condition. Old fractures, some losses to filigree, and old soldering repairs.

Tall spice container, comprising an hexagonal base resting on animal-form legs, each ending in clawed feet grasping a ball. The central section – also hexagonal – features a hinged door and is encircled by a balcony, where small human figures (now missing) were once mounted. The two upper tiers are shaped like bell towers, surmounted by an onion-shaped dome with a finial topped by a mast (flag missing).
Height: 31.5 cm, maximum width: 9 cm. Overall good condition. Minor fractures and a few missing filigree elements. Human figure ornaments and flag missing.

Silver, cut and repoussé (marked with fineness mark “12”); filigree; parcel-gilt.
Crafted in the form of a tower topped with a large gilded dome, adorned with vegetal motifs and a rooster finial.
The dome is detachable and may have been intended to double as a Havdalah candleholder. The octagonal spice compartment is made entirely of delicate silver filigree panels with floral designs. Set on a round base with a short stem. The initials BR are engraved on the dome.
Height: 22.5 cm. Base diameter: 7.5 cm. Good condition. Minor breaks. Few small silver pieces missing.
