Kiddush cup, made by Charles Boyton (II), London, presumably 1868. With dedicatory inscription dated 1883.
Silver, engraved and inscribed (fully marked with London hallmarks).
Kiddush cup on a stem; two silver plaques soldered to the cup, each engraved with a dedicatory inscription, one in Hebrew (see Hebrew description), and the other in English:
“Presented by / S. W. Joseph / to the Cardiff Hebrew Congregation / in commemoration of his son / Leopold’s Barmitzvah / Shebat 5643”.

Height: 14.5 cm, diameter: 7.5 cm. Good condition.
