Hanukkah lamp. [Warsaw, Poland, ca. 1900].
Silver, turned repoussé, and stamped (marked with maker’s mark, "I Szekman", including the (faded) logo of the workshop; and with quality marks).
Small Hanukkah lamp. Surmounting the back plate is a pair of birds flanking and nuzzling, on either side, a large crown in relief. Back plate adorned in vegetal patterns. At center, a basket of fruit and flowers enclosed within an oval medallion. A pair of palms, each with a pair of birds in its treetop, is screwed onto either side of the lamp, between the back plate and row of oil fonts. Removable servant light.

Height: 22 cm. Width: 20 cm. Depth: 7 cm. Good condition. Removable pitcher missing. Slight warping. Old soldering repairs to attachment points of upper ornaments.
