Handwritten notebook, Sermão pregado no K.K. T.T. em Amsterdam por Joseph de Jacob Bassan, em sabath Behaalotecha, 19 Sivan 5582 [Sermon delivered at the Talmud Torah community of Amsterdam by R. Yosef de Yaakov Bassan, 19th Sivan 1822]. [Amsterdam, 1822]. Portuguese with some Hebrew.

R. Yosef son of Yaakov Bassan is one of the three authors of the book of bakashot and piyyutim Shir Emunim, Amsterdam 1793. The same name appears as the signature of the editor and copyist of Kodesh Hilulim (Columbia Ms. X 893 K 81).
Another manuscript, similar to the present one, contains another Portuguese sermon by R. Yosef de Yaakov Bassan (see: Fuks, L. and Mansfeld-Fuks, Catalogue of the Manuscripts of Ets Haim, Leiden, 1975, II, p. 16, no. 34).
