Hanukkah lamp by Dov Brunstein. Tel Aviv, [late 1930s or early 1940s]. Marked: "תוצרת הארץ / דב ברונשטין / יפו תל אביב", "Palestine".
Olive wood, etched and impressed; brass (silver-plated), repoussé and engraved.
Upright Hanukkah lamp by Dov Brunstein, artisan known for creating Art Deco-style Hanukkah lamps in Palestine. Upper part of olive wood, decorated (etching and impressing) with an illustration of Rachel’s Tomb, the emblem of the Union for Local production, and inscriptions: "Bethlehem, Rachel’s Tomb" and "Made in Eretz Israel" (Hebrew and English). Mounted on a tall stem with a round base adorned with a Star of David.
Height: 23 cm. Width: 18.5 cm. Overall good condition. Silver plating faded. Crack along stem. Minor blemishes, cracks and wear to wood.

Bronze, cast and soldered; cast brass.
Designed as four arched gates; the outer arch adorned with a repeating vegetal motif and topped with a pair of pomegranates. The servant light is set on an ornament to the right.

Hanukkah lamp designed by Ludwig Yehuda Wolpert (1900-1981). Jerusalem, [ca. 1940s]. Marked on the base: "Wolpert" (in a rectangular frame) and "Jerusalem".
Brass, repoussé, cut and soldered.
Minimalist Hanukkah lamp, composed of a rectangular brass plate, bent into the shape of the Hebrew letter "resh", serving as the base. The row of oil fonts is designed as round cups with small soldered spouts for the wicks. The fonts are secured with screws to a long rectangular brass strip, raised on six bent legs. At the end stands the servant light (removable), of similar design but fitted with a small handle. Two small suspension hooks affixed to the back.
Height: 6.5 cm. Width: 31 cm. Depth: 4.5 cm. Good overall condition. Minor corrosion. Slight bends. Bend to servant light.

Hanukkah lamp with three legs. Branches are interwoven at the base, curving upwards; servant light matches the design and projects forward; screw-on oil fonts, resting on small discs.

Small dreidel, each of its four sides bearing Hebrew letters and words: Nun, גדול, He and Shin; together with four figures: Moses holding the Tablets of the Law, an Eastern European Jew holding a bird, a figure draped in a tallit holding a Kiddush cup, and a figure holding a spice tower.

Seder plate. Germany, possibly Hanau, [early 20th century].
Silver, repoussé and engraved (marked with German hallmarks, 800, crown and crescent moon – in use from 1888 – and an unidentified maker’s mark, possibly Hanau: fleur-de-lis surmounted by a crown).
Round plate, decorated with floral garlands, grape clusters, and a blank cartouche. In the center, five circular indentations designed to hold five small dishes, each engraved with one of the traditional Seder items: “Zeroah”, “Beitzah”, “Maror”, “Charoset”, “Karpas”. The rim of the plate and the rims of the dishes are decorated with a scalloped repoussé pattern.
Diameter of plate: 24.5 cm; diameter of dishes: 6 cm. Good condition. Minor blemishes.

Seder plate, produced by Grindley Royal Cauldon (model: Sederdish). England, [ca. 1930s-1940s].
Color-printed Bone China.
The rim of the plate is decorated with colorful illustrations depicting the Ten Plagues, alongside excerpts from the Haggadah in Hebrew and English. The center of the plate features the “Order of Performing the Ceremony”, surrounded by six small bowls – each set in a designated recess – with colorful illustrations of the symbolic foods and the verses “VeHigadta LeVincha…” and “Avadim Hayinu...”.
The illustrations were designed by the English artist Eric Tunstall (1897-1987), a portrait painter and illustrator from Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, who created decorative designs for the local porcelain and ceramic industry.
Plate diameter: 40.5 cm; dish diameter: ca. 10 cm. Very good condition. Housed in original cardboard box. Tears and damage to box.

Passover Seder plate, by Eliezer Aharon Stanetzky (1897-1948, Stanetzky). Jerusalem, [1940s]. Signed: “A. Stanetzky, Beitan for Judaic Art, E.I. Jerusalem” (Hebrew).
White metal, etched, cut and pierced; embroidered velvet fabric.
Plate is composed of four round dishes, connected by three upright columns, and resting on four feet. The upper dish is pierced with six round openings for the Seder dishes, and is decorated with symmetrical etched motifs: grape clusters and vine leaves, wheat stalks, symbols of the Twelve Tribes, the names of the Seder components, and a passage beginning with the words “Ha Lachma Anya” (Hebrew). A velvet curtain encircles the plate, threaded through a wire ring surrounding the upper dish.
Max. height: 18.5 cm. Diameter: 27 cm. Overall good condition. Minor metal stains; some stains and wear to velvet curtain.

Etrog box. [Presumably Palestine or Europe, ca. 19th century].
Wood, covered in fabric; embroidery; white metal.
Etrog box fashioned as a small chest, with a hinged lid and carrying handle affixed to the top. The exterior is entirely covered in purple velvet, embellished with red fabric bands and silver metallic thread embroidery, forming delicate floral motifs, small beads, and sequins. The front is embroidered with the inscription “Pri Etz Hadar” and a pair of birds. Set on four feet.
Height: 18.5 cm. Width: 17 cm. Depth: 12.5 cm. Overall fair-good condition. Wear and minor damage to fabric and embroidery. Interior of the lid lined with later fabric. Two clasps missing from the front.

Three Sabbath lamps. [Afghanistan, late 19th or early 20th century].
Silver, cast, repoussé and engraved (unmarked).
1. Double Sabbath lamp, composed of two oil cups with pinched spouts, mounted on legs with a rectangular base and three smaller legs. Each oil cup is a separate, detachable unit, connected by a central rod surmounted by a Star of David ornament.
Height: 12 cm. Width: 13.5 cm, depth: 9 cm. Good condition.
2. Single Sabbath lamp, consisting of an oil cup with a pinched spout, mounted on a stem with a round base. A tall rod is soldered to the rear of the base, decorated with vegetal motifs and topped with a Star of David ornament.
Height: 11 cm, maximum width: 8.5 cm. Good condition. Minor bends and some corrosion.
