Silver, cast and pierced (unmarked); cardboard and green velvet; print on paper.
Cardboard binding covered in green velvet, adorned with cast silver ornaments featuring vegetal motifs and corner ornaments with angel figures. Medallion at center of front cover, with relief scene of a scribe seated at his desk; medallion at center of back cover with relief of a woman carrying a jug. Matching silver clasp with astrological sign of Libra.
The book: Year-round siddur following Ashkenazi rite, with Torah portions, Shir HaYichud, Yotzerot and Selichot, Tehillim, Hoshanot, Ma'aravot and Techinot, in Hebrew and Yiddish. Amsterdam: Herz Levi Rofe and his son-in-law Kosman, [1752].
[2], 243; 88; 128; 16 leaves. With separate title pages for Tehillim and Techinot. 17.5 cm. Condition varies, fair-good. Wear and tears to first leaves, including some open tears. Front cover and first two leaves detached. Handwritten inscription opposite title page.
Binding: height: 18.5 cm. Width: 12 cm, spine width: 6.5 cm. Fair-good condition. Tears to spine, some repaired with cloth tape. Several silver ornaments slightly loose.
