Meir Nativ, by R. Yitzchak Natan. Venice: Daniel Bomberg, 1523.
First Hebrew concordance.
The first Christian concordance was compiled in the mid-13th century by Cardinal Hugo de Sancto Charo, assisted by hundreds of Dominicans. Some two hundred years later, R. Yitzchak Natan recognized the need for a Hebrew concordance, both as an aid to defend Judaism in frequent disputations with the Christians, and to generally encourage the study of the Bible.
Engraved title page followed by introduction by R. Yitzchak Natan, chart of Parashiot, note by author, followed by a second title page (with title and author's name differing slightly from first title page; the first title page is generally considered correct in naming R. Yitzchak Natan as author).
Inscriptions and notations within text on several leaves.

[406] leaves (one 8-leaf gathering at beginning and 50 numbered 8-leaf gatherings, including a final gathering of 5 leaves; extra leaf in gathering 11). 36 cm. Overall good condition. Stains, including dampstains. Small tears and open tears to several leaves, including small tear to title page, slightly affecting title frame, repaired. Stamps. New leather binding.
