HaMelech ("The King") Esther scroll (i.e., most columns headed with the word "HaMelech"), written on 4 sheets of parchment sewn together, 19 columns of text, 15 lines per column. Housed in cylindrical case decorated with various motifs; at center appears a depiction of Haman leading Mordechai on horseback.
Height of parchment sheets: 6.5 cm. Overall good condition. Few stains and ink smears. Height of case: 24 cm. Good condition. Pull bar almost entirely detached. Scrolling difficult.
