Decorated paper ketubah, for the wedding of Shaul son of Aharon Mizrachi and Masuda daughter of Avraham Bibo. Jerusalem, 24th Elul 5654 [September 25, 1894].
Ink and paint on paper.
Written on rectangular paper sheet, decorated in characteristic Jerusalem style, with colorful illustrations of flowers and vegetation on top, a large crest in the center, above a flower vase; at the bottom is the ketubah text, written in Sephardic semi-cursive script, with a few words in square script. Signatures of groom (center) and witnesses below the ketubah text.
