Yibum ketubah, for wedding of Yadgar son of Yosef Atzil and Dawrati[?] daughter of Yashya Atzil (wife of his deceased brother). Gelyard (north of Tehran), Kislev 2029 Seleucid era [1717].
Ink on parchment. The ketubah is decorated with a frame of text with blessings: "Light, joy, honor and greatness to the groom and bride, the chosen community and the exilarchs…".
Signatures of witnesses: "Aharon son of Eliyah Kohen" and "Moshe son of Mordechai".
On margins of ketubah text, colophon of writer: "And I wrote it… Elazar son of R. Ovadiah Amindin HaKohen…".
