Two letters by R. Avraham Yitzchak HaKohen Kook, addressed to R. Shem Tov Gagin. Jerusalem, 1910-1911.
Two letters handwritten by R. Kook, in semi-cursive (Rashi) script, both on his official stationery as Rabbi of Jaffa and the moshavot.
One letter dated 13th Shevat 1911, with a poetic blessing for the wedding of R. Shem Tov Gagin.
The second letter, dated 18th Shevat 1910, is a lengthy halachic letter regarding Pesach flour. The letter includes two pages, which are interrupted in the middle of the responsum, without the continuation and the signature. The responsum was printed in full in Responsa Orach Mishpat, Orach Chaim 87.

R. Shem Tov Gagin (1885-1953), head rabbi of the Sephardic communities of London and Manchester, and dean of the Judith Lady Montefiore College in Ramsgate. He was born in Jerusalem to a line of rabbis including the Rishon LeTzion R. Chaim Avraham Gagin. His Keter Shem Tov is an important source for Sephardic customs.
