Silver plaque in form of hexagonal shield, to be hung on "parokhet" (Torah ark curtain). Slightly convex, adorned almost symmetrically with rich vegetal patterns. At center is a particularly large vase with flowers. Inscribed in Hebrew on the vase is the biblical verse "For through Me your days will increase, and years be added to your life" (Proverbs 9:11), and on the base of the vase are the abbreviated Hebrew words for "May it be so, Amen".

Height: 30.5 cm. Width: 23 cm. Good condition. Numerous small holes along border (for sewing the plaque onto a "parokhet"); next to some of these holes, slight fractures and warping. Several old soldering repairs, most of them small, but one measuring some 6 cm, on the lower right border.
