A handwritten dedication by Moshe Broderzon's wife appears on the inner side of the front cover, signed: "Shayna Miriam Broderzon" (1957).
"Sichat Chulin" captures the spirit of 16th-century Prague Jewish community life. Illustrated by El Lissitzky, leading Russian Avant-garde artist, this is the first book he designed.
