One of the first Hebrew books printed in Amsterdam, as mentioned on the colophon (p. 217b; although the colophon declares it to be the first, it was preceded by one book printed by Menasseh Ben Israel earlier that year, and several missionary books printed in 1605-1606).
Variant. Two title pages, with typographical changes and change in year of printing (first title page incorrectly dated 1567; second correctly dated 1627).
At center of second title page, signature in Ashkenazic script (ca. 17th/18th century).

[1], 118 leaves. Leaves 49-52 bound out of order. 22.5 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains, including dampstains. Light wear. Worming. Early binding, with parchment spine. Wear and defects to binding.
