Instructions and laws in Yiddish, in Tzenah URenah typeface.
At beginning of Haggadah, fine woodcut illustration of Bedikat Chametz. The rest of the illustrations are incorporated within the initial panels.
On p. 38b, Akdamut for Shavuot.
Signature in Latin script inside the back board: "Philippe Langdes[?]".
16, 18-40 leaves. Lacking leaf 17 (with order of Matzah, Maror and Shulchan Orech). 14.5 cm. Fair condition. Many stains, including dampstains and dark food stains. Wear. Tears and open tears, affecting text, partially repaired with paper (including title page). Worming, affecting text. Title page and first gathering detached. Old binding, with heavy wear and defects.
