Pair of "habbiyat" (or "aswareh habbiyat") bracelets. Palestine, Nablus Region, [early 20th century].
Silver, cast and engraved.
Pair of bracelets composed of silver spherules arranged in rows and connected to one another by rings and pins. An Arabic inscription offering protection and wishing good health – "Wear with pleasure / in good health and well-being" appears engraved onto the clasps of both bracelets, enclosed within an engraved frame of branches.
