Ancient Jewish cemeteries, a Siddur with a bullet hole, synagogues in Strasburg and Eichenhausen, Jews praying in a synagogue on Yom Kipur. * Illustrations of a Synagogue on Shabbat, a divorce ceremony. * Price list for the Four Species.
Good condition. Six postcards were used.

"Pogromwaisen" / Pogrom's Orphans, a postcard with a group photograph of children in "Agudat Israel Orphanage in Baden (near Vienna)". Printed in Vienna, [ca. 1922].
Ink-stamp to reverse: "Help Austria's Children A.R.A. European Children's Fund… N.Y". Additional ink stamp in German.
The Jewish orphanage of "Agudat Israel" in Baden was inaugurated in 1921 and housed mainly orphans from Galicia and Ukraine who lost their parents during World War I and the pogroms.
Good condition. Stains and some creases. The postcard was mailed in 1922.

Two self-published postcards concerning the British Mandate in Eretz Israel. Published by Aharon Eliyahu Polak, Tel-Aviv, 1931, 1936.
1. Postcards for Purim 1931, "Lema'an Zion Lo Achashe". The postcard features a text with a prophetic message inspired by Balfour calling to fulfill the declaration on behalf of the British government: "National home for the people of Israel in Eretz Israel".
9X14 cm, good condition. Slightly stained margins.
2. Postcard for Purim 1936, portraying "Flag of the people of Israel who gave the Bible to the whole world", "Flag of Great Britain who cherishes and respects the Bible" on both sides of a bible book above the verse "Vehachut hameshulash lo bemehera yinatek". The text also cites verses and themes from the Scroll of Esther and on the bottom the inscription "If you will it is no dream" (Hebrew).
9X14 cm, good condition. Foxing, worn margins.
