Stationery box made of olive wood, with an image of the Dome of the Rock. [Jerusalem, late 19th century or early 20th century].
Carved olive wood.
An oblong box, divided into compartments for storing stationery. The lid of the box is decorated with a relief - the Dome of the Rock, flowers and leaves. Above the relief, the inscription "Jerusalem" was printed.
Enclosed: an ink blotter, a horse hair brush, a wooden nib pen and a wooden letter opener.
6X10.5X28 cm. Good condition. Minor blemishes. The key of the box is missing and the lock is slightly damaged.
