Miniature Torah scroll printed on paper, with an accompanying set of ornaments, including a Torah shield and finials.
1. Torah scroll, printed on paper, on two original wood rollers.
Height of paper: 10 cm. Height of rollers: 16 cm. Overall good condition. Minor tears and stains to paper. Top of one roller broken and lacking.
2. Miniature Torah shield [Austria-Hungary, perhaps Vienna, ca. early 20th century].
Silver, cut and embossed (maker's mark "KG" and another inscription on back – "TÖRV. VEDV.35487", perhaps a Hungarian merchandise mark); gilt.
Crown at top of shield, with the Tablets of the Law held by a pair of lions in the center, with an original suspension chain.
Height: 4.5 cm. Width: 3 cm. Height including chain: 11 cm. Good condition.
3. Pair of finials for miniature Torah scroll. [Austria-Hungary, perhaps Vienna, ca. early 20th century].
Silver, cut, embossed, engraved and soldered (partial maker's mark ["KG"] and another illegible mark); partial gilding.
Finials for miniature Torah scroll, in the common 19th-century Viennese pattern, with crown and small bells.
