Miniature siddur in a decorated silver binding. [Germany and France, 19th century].
Silver, cast, stamped and pierced (unmarked, except for a French import mark – a swan – in use from 1893 onward); wood and velvet; print on paper.
Miniature siddur bound in original wooden boards covered in velvet, encased in a silver binding decorated with vegetal motifs. Front cover engraved with the initials “C de R”; back cover engraved with the year 5600 [1840]. Matching silver clasp.
The book: Seder Rinah U'Tefillah. Roedelheim: I. Lehrberger, 1837.

240 leaves. 8 cm. Good condition. Front endpaper, spine, and front cover detached. Gilt edges.
