Miniature Esther scroll housed in a decorated silver case. [Presumably Palestine, early decades of the 20th century].
Silver filigree and granulation (unmarked); ink on parchment.
“HaMelekh” scroll (most columns begin with the word “HaMelekh”), written in tiny calligraphic script on five parchment sheets, sewn one to the other; 24 columns of text, 16-17 lines per column.
Housed in a miniature silver case, decorated with silver thread and granulation; dome-like ornament at the top of the case, surmounted by a spherical finial; long spiral silver handle.

Height of parchment: 3.1 cm. Good condition. Height of case (including handle): 14.5 cm. Good condition. Dome ornament and internal rod slightly loose.
