Lengthy letter (over 24 lines) handwritten and signed by R. Shlomo Wolbe. Jerusalem, Iyar 1998.
Addressed to R. Yosef Shalom Elyashiv, subsequent to hearing that advanced courses for teachers by the Ministry of Education included unfit lecturers and content, and even heresy. R. Wolbe asks R. Elyashiv to get involved and to call for rabbinic oversight over the education programs and contents, as only his halachic ruling could compel the organizers to accept rabbinic supervision.
R. Wolbe humbly ends the letter by asking for R. Elyashiv's opinion and submitting to his decision, concluding with his signature.
