"M.Schneerson", with corrections added by hand.
Addressed to R. Yitzchak Levi, discussing his health condition and advising him to avoid things that cause him mental distress, based on Chassidic and ethical works: "When you think even for a moment about how you merit to work in an institution founded by the Rebbe [Rayatz], my father-in-law, the prince of Israel, and an institution that brings Jewish girls closer to their father in heaven, this pleasure is enough to offset and perhaps even cancel out the causes of mental distress involved in working in that institution".
The Rebbe goes on to discuss the livelihood of his brother-in-law, blessing him for it to improve and asking for updates on the situation, and the birth of two girls in his family, blessing them to raise them "to Torah, marriage and good deeds", mentioning the famous Chabad practice in the name of the Rebbe Rashab to use the formula "to Torah" even upon the birth of a girl. He concludes with a Mazal Tov blessing.
This letter has not been published in the Lubavitcher Rebbe's Igrot Kodesh.
