Chanukah lamp. [Eastern Europe?, probably 20th century].

Silver, cast, embossed, repoussé and engraved (with partial maker's mark, "—ARIS", another partial maker's mark – probably a workshop logo, and standard mark "12"); gilt.

The present lamp is stylized as a large building inspired by 19th-century Eastern European Chanukah lamps, inspired by carved wooden Torah arks. The back side is engraved "Lehadlik Ner Chanukah" within a large cartouche surrounded by a pair of erect lions. The oil fonts are stylized as small jars on a raised platform on front. One of the platforms is engraved with initials in Cyrillic characters. Without shamash.

Height: 38 cm. Maximal width: 32 cm. Depth: 13 cm. Weight: 2016 g. Overall good condition. Broken piece to vegetal decoration at top of lamp. Some screws loose and some parts partially detached. Pendant lacking. Fractures and small pieces missing from side ornaments. Two removable lamp ornaments or shamash and jar lacking.
