"Kofer HaYeshuv", radio contribution. Booklet containg 40 stamps, 1948.
A complete booklet containing 40 stamps being a receipt for paying tax on radio. An illustration of Eretz Israel map and the kibbutzim Negba and Daphna appears on the stamps as those kibbutzim were established as part of the Tower and Stockade operation.
"Kofer Hayeshuv" – a fundraising campaign for collecting funds for security purposes during the riots of 1936-1939 until the establishment of the state. This fund was operating, amongst other ways, through taxing indirectly imported goods, food, rides in public transportation and luxuries like the radio. Receipt for paying the tax was in the form of stamps. Good condition.
