Large collection of some seventy color photochrom prints, depicting landscapes, streets, and inhabitants of Jerusalem. [Ca. mid-late 19th century].
The collection includes, among others: views of Jerusalem from various angles, the Temple Mount, streets and alleys of the city, Via Dolorosa, Jaffa Gate, Damascus Gate, Golden Gate, men and women of the city at their work, Jews in Sabbath attire, as well as sites in the vicinity of Jerusalem, including Rachel’s Tomb and Nabi Samuel.
The photochrom prints are numbered, inscribed with the initials of the publisher P.Z. [Photochrom Zürich], and titled. Some bear an ink stamp on verso: "Photochrom". Accompanied by two original family photographs, mounted on cardboard [ca. mid-late 19th century].

Approx. 70 color photochrom prints, some in multiple copies. Average size: 22.5X16.5 cm. Overall good condition. Minor wear, blemishes and stains.
