Stone box, from the internment camps in Cyprus, 1948.
Heart-shaped box. On the external side of the lid is a chiseled flower basket with the letters "bet" and "ayin" on the sides. On the inner side of the lid is an etched dedication in Hebrew: "In everlasting memory, from Hirsch Sigmund and Sonia / Cyprus 29.IX.1948". Alongside the dedication, inside a diamond-shaped frame is a photograph - a portrait of Sonia Hirsch.
Height: 3 cm, length: 10 cm, width: 11 cm. Good condition. Rubbing and slight damage.
