HaMered, memoirs of Menachem Begin. Elegant edition. A metal plaque – the emblem of Etzel (Irgun) is embossed on front cover. A photocopy of a letter of dedication by Begin from 1950 is pasted unto the front flyleaf. His own signature appears on the title page: "The way is yet long (quote from a poem by Bialik)".
514, [6], pages + [7] plates, 20.5 cm. Good condition. Few creases. Stains, primarily to first and last leaves. Paper strips are pasted unto the seam connecting the endpapers to the binding. Slight defects to the corners of the binding and the spine.
