1-2. Two photographs of the residents of the "Retirement Home", by Tzaddok Basan. Mounted to cardboard. One of them with an embossed stamp on the cardboard: "Photographer Tzaddok Basan Jerusalem" (Hebrew).

3. Photographs of elderly resident standing before the "Retirement Home" which is under construction. Captioned and dated on the lower part of the plate: "Picture of the fifteen first rooms of the new retirement home from the east. Rosh Chodesh Adar [1898]. In Jerusalem" (Hebrew). Apparently by Tzaddok Basan.

"Moshav HaZekenim Hakelali HaMe'uchad" (The General United Retirement Home) was founded in the late 1870s in the Old City of Jerusalem. When the building did not have enough room for all its residents, it was decided to move them to a new building at the entrance to the city, the construction of which was completed in 1901. The building was evacuated in 1966 and the Central Bus Station of Jerusalem was built where it stood.

Nissan 6 [1929]" (Hebrew) – four photographs (printed one beside the other on the same plate) of the celebrations of laying the cornerstone of the Etz Chaim neighborhood in Jerusalem. Captioned on the plate (in Hebrew and English). The plate has an (embossed) stamp in the lower left corner: "Photographer Tzaddok Basan Jerusalem" (Hebrew).
