"Moshav HaZekenim Hakelali HaMe'uchad" (The General United Retirement Home) was founded in the late 1870s in the Old City of Jerusalem. When the building did not have enough room for all its residents, it was decided to move them to a new building at the entrance to the city, the construction of which was completed in 1901. The building was evacuated in 1966 and the Central Bus Station of Jerusalem was built where it stood.
4. "Laying the cornerstone of the Ezt Chaim neighborhood. Nissan 6 [1929]" (Hebrew) – four photographs (printed one beside the other on the same plate) of the celebrations of laying the cornerstone of the Etz Chaim neighborhood in Jerusalem. Captioned on the plate (in Hebrew and English). The plate has an (embossed) stamp in the lower left corner: "Photographer Tzaddok Basan Jerusalem" (Hebrew).
