On the title page - an autographed dedication by David Ben-Gurion: "To the bereaved and proud parents Pesia and Eliezer Shapira, for the library named after their son Baruch who was killed while defending his homeland". The dedication concerns Baruch Asher Shapira (1923-1948), who was killed during the War of Independence. A military-religious library was founded in his memory. Good condition.
