A collection of early Judaica auction catalogs from the auction houses Sotheby's, Parke-Bernet, Christie's and more. Covering the years 1932-1979 (most of the catalogs are from the 1950s-70s). English (one catalog in German).
The collection includes 37 catalogs focusing on auctions of Hebrew books and Judaica items. Among them:
* Jüdische Kultgeräte / Silber / Glasser / Möbel / Alte Gemalde / Plastik / Graphic, an auction catalog of Judaica items at the Hugo Helbing Gallery, Munich, 1932. German. * 22 catalogs of the Parke-Bernet Galleries auction house, dating from 1949-1974. (Parke-Bernet was acquired by Sotheby's in 1964. Three of the catalogs were printed under the name Sotheby's Parke Bernet.) A number of catalogs appear in two copies. * Two catalogs of PB 84 (a division of Sotheby's Parke Bernet), dated 1976 and 1977. * Nine Sotheby's catalogs from the years 1970-1979. * Two O'Reilly's Plaza Art Galleries (New York) catalogs, dated 1967. Two Christie's catalogs, dated 1932 and 1970.
