One of the greatest Torah and Chassidic scholars of his generation, he took his father's place as rabbi of Munkacs. Founder of Munkacs Chassidut, his followers numbered thousands. He founded Kollel Munkacs and served as Nesi Eretz Israel. He authored Darchei Teshuvah, Be'er LeChai Ro'i, Tzvi Tiferet and more.
