The Maggid of Vilkomir, R. Chaim Yitzchak Aharon Rappaport (1809-1904), served for decades as maggid in Eišiškės and Vilkomir (Ukmergė). At the age of 75 he immigrated to Jerusalem. He was highly respected by R. Yehoshua Leib (Maharil) Diskin, and his original ideas are the subject of many studies. He authored a commentary on the Ein Yaakov and dozens of smaller works and posters printed in Jerusalem.
