Collection of five books on various topics printed in Amsterdam in the 1700s:
• Yad Yosef, homilies following the order of the Torah and for various occasions, by R. Yosef Tzarfati. Amsterdam, 1700. Second edition. Two title pages, first illustrated with fine engraving (resembling the 1698 [Nachat] Shlah title page). Stamps: "Shemariah Kalonymus Levin". Signatures: "Gavriel Chaim son of Shlomo Moshe of Ancona" [a rabbi of Ancona]. Another ownership inscription, mostly deleted with ink. Many pencil inscriptions.
• Zeh Yenachamenu, Mechilta with commentaries of R. Moshe Frankfurt. Amsterdam, [1712]. Ownership inscriptions on title page.
• Ramat Shmuel, novellae on 32 Talmudic tractates by R. Shmuel of Lissa. Amsterdam, [1714]. Signature on title page.
• Maavar Yabok, prayers for day of death, ethics and kabbalah, by R. Aharon Berechiah of Modena. Amsterdam, [1732]. Second edition. Wide margins.
Also includes various prayers and a study regimen.
• Ohel Yaakov, responsa of R. Yaakov Sasportas. Amsterdam, [1737]. Does not include Kitzur Tzitzat Novel Tzvi, an anti-Sabbatean work printed with a divisional title page and omitted from most copies by decision of the leaders of the Amsterdam community. Stamps of philanthropist R. Shemaryahu Zuckerman of Mogilev [father-in-law and teacher of R. David Friedman, Rabbi of Karlin]: "Sh. Zuckerman". Signature on title page.
