A large class photograph of the "Great and Holy Telz Yeshiva" from 1932.
At center, the Head of the Yeshiva at that time, Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Bloch (1890-1941, perished in the Holocaust; appointed Head of Yeshiva after the death of his father Rabbi Yosef Leib Bloch in Cheshvan 1930), and his brother Rabbi Eliyahu Meir Bloch (1895-1955, Head of Telz Yeshiva in Cleveland, Ohio, US). Most of the rabbis and students photographed were cruelly murdered after the German occupation of Lithuania.
37x27 cm. Placed in frame 51x42 cm. Fair condition, stains and tears. Not examined out of the frame.
