This book is the source of many known Segulot; for memory of material learned and talisman for protection of woman in confinement. The mere possession of this book at home is a Segula for protection from harm and conflagration as written in title page of this book: “Terrific Segula to merit to see wise children and for success and blessing and the protection against any demon and harm. Any person who possesses this holy book will have blessing in monetary matters and will merit a speedy salvation. All Torah observant Jews will attest to this”. Some say that it is a Segula for childless couples and for women experiencing difficulty in labor.

Margins of page of approbations contain approbation in name of Seer of Lublin: “The great and famous luminary, Kabbalist and Hassid in Venice… Rabbi Ya’akov Yitzchak of Lantzut; abstained from writing approbations to books… however, due to his extreme passion for this holy book… signed his name… and his signature constitutes an approbation”.
Markings of lines for highlighting, and several brief handwritten glosses.

"Heichal HaBracha" Chumashim by the Mahari of Komarno is among the basic books of Hassidic contemplation and Kabbalistic Torah. These books were favored by rebbes of all sects (Ziditshov, The Divrei Chaim and his descendants, Rabbi Shalom Ber of Lubavitch and others).
In the letter of the author to members of community of Ungarn, regarding distribution of the Chumashim with his holy commentary, he writes his special blessing and notes the Segula of his holy books: “… I guarantee that any person who possesses this Chumash will be spared from any harm and misfortune and illness and his home will be filled with G-D’s blessing for success and wealth and longevity for him and his sons… children, life and sustenance, benevolence and mercy… for long life”.
