Two gold amulets:
1. Amulet-Pendant. [Iraq, early decades of the 20th century].
Ink and paint on parchment; glass; gold; turquoise stones.
Round gold amulet, containing a round parchment slip inscribed with initial letters of the Ana Bekoach piyyut and various names for protection, set beneath glass. Gold frame is set with turquoise stones. A pin affixed to the reverse for attaching to clothing.
Diameter: 3.5 cm. One turquoise stone lacking.
2. Amulet. [Iraq or Kurdistan, ca. mid-20th century].
Gold, engraved.
Round gold amulet, engraved with initial letters of the Ana Bekoach piyyut, names of angels, a Star of David enclosing the word “Zion”, and the owner's name: "Rachima bat Nazdari".

Five amulets. [Near East, Iran / Kurdistan and vicinity, late 19th to early 20th century].
Silver, cut, soldered, repoussé and engraved; glass; silver coins; tin bead.
1. Large amulet in the form of a three-dimensional rectangular frame with clipped corners, featuring a depiction of a LeMenatze'ach menorah and the verse “Shiviti Hashem lenegdi tamid” inscribed on parchment or paper, decorated in color. Russian silver coins from the 1860s suspended from the bottom of the amulet.
2. Hexagonal amulet case, inscribed (see Hebrew description).
3. Double-sided amulet, in the form of a large round pendant; one side inscribed with protective verses and attributes, the other with a personal dedication.
4. Small amulet in the form of a rectangular pendant, inscribed with the “Priestly Blessing” and the name “Moshe ben Chaim” (possibly of North African origin).
5. Woman’s arm amulet, inscribed with various verses and an animal-like motif, dated (?): 5612 [1852]. Includes a cotton thread and red-painted metal bead.
Size and condition vary. Overall good condition.

Four institutional seals from Jerusalem and Jaffa, mid-19th to early 20th centuries:
1. Seal of Chavrat Ohavei Tzion. Jerusalem, ca. mid-19th century. Brass, cast and engraved.
Round seal, depicting a panoramic view of Jerusalem in the center, surrounded by various biblical verses. Inscription in Hebrew: "Seal of the Ohavei Tzion Society, Ashkenazi immigrants, for building a house of prayer, shelters for the poor, and a guesthouse amidst the ruins of the Holy Mount Zion…". German inscription around the border: "Siegel d. Israe. Comitee zum Aufbau Ju. Bethaus Wohnstatten u. Pilgerhaus auf d. Ruinen d. h. Berge Zion".
Diameter: 5 cm. Knob on reverse for attaching handle.
2. Seal of Kollel Perushim. Jerusalem, 19th century. Brass, cast and engraved.
Round seal. In the center, the Western Wall, with the inscription: "The Western Wall, over which the Divine Presence never departed, even at its destruction" (Hebrew). Around it: "Seal of the Kollel of the Holy Ashkenazi Perushim Congregation, may it be preserved – here in the Holy City of Jerusalem…". German inscription around the outer edge: "Siegel der israeliten Gemeinde Aschknasim Peruschim in Jerusalem".

3. Seal of Chevrat Benot Tzion. Jerusalem, late 19th / early 20th century. Brass, cast and engraved, with wooden handle.
Round seal, depicting the Western Wall in the center, with inscriptions in Hebrew: "Seal of the Benot Tzion Society, Holy City of Jerusalem…", and in German: "Siegel d. Frauen Verein Bnot-Zion".

4. Seal of the Shaarei Torah Institution in Jaffa. Palestine, late 19th century. Brass, cast and engraved, with wooden handle.

Three seals: the Satmar Beit Din, and two seals of R. Naftali Halpert, Rabbi of Satmar:
1. Shabbat Schedule Seal of the Satmar Beit Din. Ca. 1920s-1930s. Carved rubber, mounted on a wooden base and handle. Large rectangular seal, trilingual (Hebrew, Yiddish and Hungarian); inscribed at top: “With G-d’s help / Erev Shabbat Parashat / Satmar, may it be built and established”, and at bottom: “Beit Din Tzedek of this place” (all in Hebrew). The central portion is formatted as a table with blank spaces for handwritten entries: "Time for donning Tefillin", "Latest Shema (morning)", "Time for placing food on the fire", "Store closing time", "Candle lighting time", "End of Shabbat".
11.5X7.5 cm; height (incl. base and handle): ca. 7 cm.
2-3. Two Seals of R. Naftali Halpert, Rabbi of Satmar. Ca. 1960s-1970s. Carved rubber, with wooden handles. Round seals. One with Hebrew inscription: "Naftali Halpert, Rabbi of the Holy Congregation of Satmar"; the other in Romanian: " Halpert Naftuli Prim Rabin Satu-Mare".
Diameters: 2.5 cm and 3 cm. Handle heights: 6 and 7 cm.
R. Naftali Halpert (1905-1988), last rabbi of the Satmar community in Romania, was a devout follower of the Vizhnitz rebbes, including the Ahavat Yisrael of Vizhnitz and his sons. He studied under the author of She’erit Menachem in Vyshiva, who also ordained him, and later in the yeshivot of the Yagel Yaakov in Miskolc and Keren LeDavid in Satmar. He lost his wife and seven children in the Holocaust. After the war, he rebuilt his home in Satmar and helped reestablish the city’s Torah and charitable institutions. In 1962, he was appointed chief rabbi of Satmar and placed in charge of all religious and kashrut matters in the Transylvanian region. He served for twenty years, devoting himself fully to the needs of the community. In 1982, he immigrated to Israel and settled in the Ramat Vizhnitz neighborhood of Haifa.

1. Seal of R. Yisrael Menachem Gottlieb of Fehérgyarmat (possibly the son of the renowned R. Chaim Yosef Gottlieb, rabbi of Stropkov and Tarcal, author of Tiv Gittin VeKidushin; R. Yisrael Menachem died in 1898, and is known to have resided for some time in the vicinity of Fehérgyarmat). Brass cast and engraved. Round seal; inscriptions in Hebrew and Hungarian: "Yisrael Menachem Gottlieb", "Gottlieb Imre Fehérgyarmat".
Diameter: 3.5 cm. With a knob on reverse for attaching handle.
2. Seal of the Jewish Community Council of Târgu Neamț. Brass, cast and engraved. Oval seal; in center, the emblem of the United Principalities of Wallachia and Moldavia, and Romanian inscription: "Principatele Unite. Epîtropiea Komunităţii Evreeşti în Tîrg. Neamţu 1861".
4X3.5 cm. Knob on reverse for attaching handle (bent and damaged).
3. Seal of the Shas and Tehillim Society of Botoșani. Brass, cast and engraved, with wooden handle. Round seal; in center, a Star of David with branches and a crown above, and inscriptions: "Batashan", and around the perimeter: "Chevrat Shas VeChavurat Tehillim MiBeit HaMidrash HaGadol HaNikra Sivener Beit Midrash". In the center of the Star of David: "Year 5600 [1840]".
Diameter: 4.5 cm. Height (incl. handle): 13 cm.
4. Yom Kippur Schedule Seal from a Hungarian Community. Carved rubber, mounted on wooden base and handle. Large rectangular bilingual seal (Yiddish and Hungarian); includes blank spaces for filling in the Gregorian date of Yom Kippur, times for candle lighting, beginning and end of fast, Yizkor, and the blessing "Gmar Chatima Tova" at bottom.

1. Seal of R. Binyamin son of R. Shmuel of Novardok (d. Tishrei 1892), formerly Rabbi of Stowbtsy, author of She’erit Binyamin. Cast and engraved metal. Round seal with depiction of the Western Wall at center, encircled by the inscription: "בנימין במוהר"ר שמואל זלה"ה ר[א]ב"ד בקהל אשכנזי בירושלם עה"ק תב"ב".

2. Seal of R. Moshe son of R. Meir Monester of Safed-Tiberias (1870-1910), son-in-law of R. Yisrael Dov Heller, gabbai of the Karlin Beit Midrash in Tiberias. Brass, cast and engraved. Oval seal inscribed (in two concentric rings): "משה מוינעשטיר שד"ר בית החולים בעה"ק טבריא ת"ו", and "Moses Monester representant do comite de l’Hospital Jsraelite a Tibériade".

3. Seal of R. Yaakov Waknin (1869-1947), dayan and emissary, eldest son of R. David Waknin (rabbi of Old Tiberias, author of VaYedaber David) and elder brother of R. Meir Waknin (last Av Beit Din of Tiberias); author of VaYomer David. Brass, cast and engraved, with wooden handle. Oval seal inscribed: "ע"ה יעקב ואעקנין ס"ט בלא"ץ עט"ר ראב"ד מקודש כמהר"ר דוד ואעקנין זצ"ל בעה"ק טבריא ת"ו – Jacub Waeknin Tiberias (Palestine)".

4. Seal of R. Yisrael Aba (Kitroni) Citron, Rabbi of Petach Tikva (1881-1927), disciple of the Or Sameach, and son-in-law of R. Yosef Rosen, the Rogatchover Gaon. Brass, cast and engraved, with wooden handle. Round seal inscribed: "ישראל אבא ציטרון אב"ד במושבה פתח תקוה בא"הק", with outer ring: "Rabb. Israel Aba Citron – Colonie Petach Tikwa".

5. Seal of R. Chaim Dov Kantor (1866-1944), one of the founders of Shfeya and Rabbi of Zichron Yaakov; descendant of R. Chaim of Volozhin and son-in-law of R. Yaakov David Spektor (brother of R. Yitzchak Elchanan Spektor of Kovno). Brass, cast and engraved, with wooden handle. Round seal inscribed: "חיים דוב ב"ר שלמה זלל"ה חתן אחי הגאון ר' יצחק אלחנן זצ"ל ספעקטער – חונה פה מושבה זכרון יעקב – Haim Dob Bar Schkomo".

6. Seal of R. Alter Katz Keiner, of Batei Ungarin, Jerusalem. Carved and engraved rubber, with wooden handle. Round seal depicting the Western Wall at center, with inscriptions in two concentric rings: "אלתר כ"ץ קיינער ספרא דקרתא קדישא ירושלם ת"ו נכד להרה"צ כהר"ר אברהם שאג זצוק"ל", and "Alter Keiner Hongary Colony 87 Jerusalem Palestino".

1. Charity box of the "Országos Bikur Chol[im] Betegeket Gyógyító Egyesület" (National Bikur Cholim Association, Budapest). [Budapest, ca. 1920s].
Reddish cardboard box. Front with printed label (in Hungarian) bearing association details and illustrations of its activities aiding the sick.
14X9X6 cm.
2. Charity box of the "A Budapesti Igaz Tóra és Jesivákat Támogató Egylet" (Budapest Association for Supporting Torah and Yeshivot). [Budapest, after 1927].
Silver-colored metal box, plaque in the front depicting two yeshiva students bent over an open Talmud, above the inscription: "Heed the children of the poor, for from them Torah shall go forth". Surrounding inscription with the association's details (Hungarian).
Approx. 10X9.5X5 cm.
3. Charity box of the Association of Jewish Charity Institutions. [Hungary, first half of 20th century].
Tin box, decorated on all sides with vegetal and geometric designs. Printed inscriptions on sides with the association’s goals (Hebrew and Hungarian): "Charity for supporting widows, orphans, and elderly poor of our city"; "Charity for providing medicine for poor and unfortunate sick"; "Charity for elementary Torah schools and education of the youth".
Approx. 10X12.5X8.5 cm.
4. Charity box of "Országos Magyar Zsidó Segítő Akció – OMZSA" (National Hungarian Jewish Aid Organization). Budapest, [after 1939].
Brass box with handle at the rear; blue printed label pasted on the front (Hungarian and Hebrew).

Charity box for the Jewish National Fund (JNF). Germany, [ca. 1910; pre-WWI]. Marked on bottom: “Entwurf. Leop. Fleischhacker Ausf: Homann-Werke. Vohwinkel”, with serial number: A 10 423.
Sheet copper, stamped.
Designed and produced by the Jewish-German sculptor Leopold Fleischhacker (1882-1946) in the years preceding World War I.
Front bears the inscription “קרן קימת לישראל / Jüdischer National Fonds” and a Star of David. Side panels decorated with memorial lamps in relief; back panel decorated with grape cluster motifs.
Height: 15 cm. Width: 10 cm, depth: 8 cm. Overall good condition. Minor dents. Small blemish to one foot. Locked; without key.

“Shield of Judah Maccabee” – challenge trophy of the “Maccabi” sports club in Eretz Israel. Made by the “Oholiab” workshop of artist Salamon Yedidya-Seelenfreund, Jerusalem, [1923]. Marked: “Oholiab, Jerusalem” [Henrew].
Silver, repoussé and engraved; silver rivets; painted wood.
Round silver sheet affixed with rivets to an octagonal wooden base. In the center: high-relief image of a nude athlete throwing a javelin, surrounded by the inscription: “Challenge Trophy for the most outstanding company in sports and gymnastics among all Hebrew companies in Eretz Israel” [Hebrew]. The border features interlaced Hebrew monograms and various geometric patterns; at the top, the Maccabi movement emblem and the inscription: “Shield of Judah the Maccabee – a healthy mind in a healthy body” [Hebrew].
Additional silver plaque mounted on the wooden base, engraved with a dedicatory inscription: “Presented for the first time at the track and field competitions held on Hol HaMoed Sukkot, 17 Tishrei 5684 [1923], in Jerusalem, by Mrs. Miriam Fels, Honorary Vice President of the ‘Bnei Binyamin’ organization in Eretz Israel”.
Miriam (Mary) Fels (1863-1930), German-born American Jewish philanthropist. After her husband’s death in 1914, she dedicated her fortune to public, social, and Zionist causes. She was a major supporter of the Zionist movement and of Jewish settlement in Eretz Israel, and served as Honorary Vice President of the “Bnei Binyamin” organization, which supported agricultural settlers in the Jewish colonies of Eretz Israel.
Diameter of silver sheet: approx. 25 cm, dedication plaque: 11.5X3 cm, diameter of wooden base: 36 cm. Good-fair condition. Minor bends and blemishes to silver plaque. Cracks and breaks to wooden base. Two brass suspension hooks affixed to the top corners of the wooden base.

Two rings with Mazal Tov inscriptions:
1. Golden ring (unmarked). [Europe, second half of 19th century].
Decorated with minute golden chains and balls and engraved with the Hebrew inscription: "Mazal Tov". Rings of this kind were widespread in the Judaica market of the second half of the 19th century, and are today part of many collections. These have previously been described as wedding rings from the Renaissance or 16th-17th centuries, but Vivian Mann's study has shown that they were produced in the second half of the 19th century.

Massive ring, made of silver with inlaid enamel, bearing the Hebrew inscription "Mazal Tov". The upper part is stylized as a house and fixed on a hinge. Interior decoration modeled after a Torah scroll.

“Gargush” / “karkush mizahhar” – a traditional headdress (hood) worn by Jewish women in Yemen on festive occasions, such as weddings and holidays. [Sana’a, Yemen, late 19th century].
Brocade silk, cotton and velvet; silver chains and ornaments; metal threads; gilt silver filigree plaques and pendants; “Maria Theresa” coins, some gilt; Ottoman coins; glass beads.
The back of the headdress is adorned with twenty-four 18th century “Maria Theresa Thaler” silver coins, arranged in two vertical rows, some gilt. As typical in Yemenite adornment, the outward-facing side of the coins displays the imperial double-headed eagle.
The upper portion is decorated with gilt silver plaques, some executed in filigree, several set with tiny glass beads. A silver ornament band is sewn along the forehead area. Along the edge of the fabric hang silver chains with silver beads, terminating in silver ornaments and two small 19th-century Ottoman coins. Button and loop closure at front.
Length: approx. 55 cm (approx. 60 cm including chains). Width: approx. 28 cm. Overall good condition. Some glass beads missing. Some unraveling.

Tray and six cup holders. [Iraq, early 20th century].
Silver, repoussé and pierced (unmarked); niello.
High-quality rectangular silver tray with raised edges. Decorated in niello with a geometric border and five figural scenes, including an arched bridge, a boat, a camel, palm trees, and architectural structures – one of which likely represents the Tomb of Ezra the Scribe on the banks of the Tigris River. The center bears a Star of David enclosing the word Zion, alongside the name of the owner: "Nizri Slimani".
The six matching cup holders are decorated with identical vegetal motifs, each featuring the Hebrew letter Tsadi (for Zion) enclosed within a Star of David.
Tray: 39.5X29 cm. Cup holders: height 8 cm (incl. handle), rim diameter 7 cm. Good condition.
