Silver, silver thread and granulation; gemstones; glass beads.
1. [Bukhara, Uzbekistan]. Very large bracelet, inlaid with gemstones and large glass beads, decorated in silver thread and granulation. 9.5X2.5 cm.
2. [Bukhara, Uzbekistan]. Forehead ornament or necklace, consisting of minute beads made in granulation, droplet-like pendants ("boteh" or paisleys), star-and-crescent pendants, coral beads, and more. Approx. 30X4.
3. [Pakistan]. Very large neck ring, inlaid with gemstones (one broken). 17X3 cm.

Young women's "ainaly kyamar" belt. Azerbaijan / Northern Caucasus, [early 20th century].
Silver, filigree and granulation (gilt).
Belt consists of nine rectangular links, decorated in filigree and granulation, and connected to one another by hinges. Each link with dome-shaped ornament at center. Connecting hinges covered by clover-like ornaments. Buckle composed of two large, elegant, convex links, and closed with two hooks.
70X8 cm. One ornament covering hinges missing. One hinge broken; partially missing.

Women's "kamar" belt. Azerbaijan / Northern Caucasus, [early 20th century, ca. 1916].
Silver, cast and engraved; niello, silver thread and granulation; silver coins; leather; cotton thread.
Belt made of thick, broad leather strap, with 76 silver coins sewn on, arranged in three rows. Coins are Russian and Polish, dating from 1835 to 1916. Buckle consisting of two large, slightly convex links in silver thread and granulation, with vegetal patterns in niello, and with round bosses, also decorated with niello. Closed with copper hook.

Belt. Uzbekistan / Azerbaijan or Northern Caucasus Region, [early 20th century].
Silver, filigree and granulation (parcel gilt), niello; turquoise beads; glass; fabric.
Belt consisting of seven rectangular links, connected to one another with hinges, with minute decorations in filigree and granulation. Dome-shaped ornament, inlaid at center with turquoise bead, in middle of each link. Belt buckle composed of two long, convex links with dome-shaped ornaments inlaid with red glass beads, and with small decorative elements made with niello. Side edges of buckle also decorated in niello. Buckle closed with pin, connected by chain from which five pendants with matching patterns are suspended. Running along back of belt, yellow cloth band, machine-embroidered with silver thread, connecting all links and parts of buckle.

Three belts made of silver links with niello decorations. Caucasus Region and Russia, [early 20th century].
Silver, niello; fabric.
1. Belt composed of twenty-five silver links connected to one another with chains. Slightly convex buckle, closed with dagger-shaped ornament. Marked with Russian silver marks, ca. 1908-26. 77X7 cm.
2. Belt composed of velvet cloth strap with ten small button-like silver ornaments and four elongated silver ornaments sewn on. Slightly convex buckle, closed with hook. 75X6 cm.
3. Short belt composed of gold-colored fabric strap with silver button and Russian coin dated 1903 sewn on. Six Russian coins dated 1861-64 suspended from buckle decorated in vegetal patterns. Closed with hook. 55X6.5 cm.
