The book was proofread by the author who was a rabbi and preacher in Morocco: "The great excellent Dayan, head of the preachers of Fez and Marrakech and the western region". On the title page is the signature of Rabbi "Ezra Chiya Yedidya of the Lachmi family", and on Leaf [2] is a dedication handwritten and signed by Rabbi Ezra Chiya HaLachmi, who gave the book as a gift to Rabbi Ezra ben Atar, during his years as emissary to Morocco for the Tiberias Kollel. Rabbi Ezra Chiya Yedidya HaLachmi was born in Egypt to Rabbi Sar-Shalom HaLachmi, an Aleppo sage in the 1860s. He was an exceptional Torah scholar and prolific author and produced many Torah works: the Sha'arei Ezra responsa (manuscript), the pamphlet Zechor L'Avdecha, novellae and Maarachot in Alphabetical order (printed in Jerusalem in 1982 inside the book Shalom La'Am); Beit Dino shel Ezra (printed in the Otzar Eliyahu manuscript, Holon); Ma'aseh Chiya on Talmudical Aggadot; commentaries on the Torah, on Mishlei and on Nevi'im, other books in manuscript form. [Hanau, 1629]. Title page for the entire book and two separate title pages for the books Bechinat HaDat and Mitzraf L'Chochma; (the title page of Bechinat HaDat was erroneously bound before the general title page). "Basilia" is falsely written as the place of printing on the two title pages. Additional works were added to Mitzraf L'Chochma: Shivchei Ha'Ari, Ma'amar Olam Katan, Kitzur Olam HaTikun, Seder Ha'Atzilut – Drush Adam Kadmon, Shever Yosef, Kabalat Maharari Srug, Igeret HaRamban, Igeret Teiman and Ma'amar Techiyat HaMetim. Ownership inscription on the title page of Bechinat HaDat: "Yitzchak Urbino bought this book from Chananya Yechiel Orkanilo… Pesaro". Apparently, this is Rabbi Yitzchak Shabtai Chaim Urbino (1675-1764), close disciple of the Rabach from whom he learned both the revealed and hidden Torah, together with his friend Rabbi Yeshaya Bassan. 10, 110 leaves. 17.5 cm.
