Letter by Rebbe Yitzchak Horowitz of Malitz, to his relative Rabbi Moshe Halberstam "Moreh Tzedek in Jerusalem". New York, 1964.
The letter concerns purchase of books and holy objects in Jerusalem. The rest of the letter is about various Torah thoughts and a blessing of mazal tov on the appointment of Rabbi Moshe Halberstam to the rabbinate, "… your presiding should be for many days and years in good health and bringing glory to your holy fathers".
Rebbe Yitzchak Horowitz (1900-1978), son of Rebbe Naftali of Malitz (1845-1896, author of "Kedushat Naftali" descendant of the Rupshitz dynasty), served for sixty years as rabbi and rebbe in Vohlin and in the US. Authored "Birkat Avraham" and "Kevod HaShabbat" etc.
Aerogram, c. 17 rows in his handwriting and with his signature, good condition.

Rescue letter, by “Committee of Rabbis of Warsaw Congregation”, to Rabbi Yitzchak Eizik HaLevi Herzog. Warsaw, 1938.
Petition to Rabbi Herzog, who served at the time as Chief Rabbi of Eretz Israel, to do everything in his power for the rescue of Rebbe Rabbi Moshe Yechezkel Rotenberg of Bendin, who was imprisoned in Dachau concentration camp in Germany. “A matter which is life threatening to Rabbi Moshe Yechezkel Rotenberg… the torture and suffering which he is enduring since he was confined in Dachau is indescribable…”.
Typewritten, with signatures of geniuses of Warsaw: Rabbi Shlomo David Kahana, Rabbi Chaim Yehoshua Gutschachter [?], Rabbi Ya’akov Zilberstein [?], Rabbi Shimshon Stockhammer [perished in the Holocaust].
The Rebbe Rabbi Moshe Yechezkel Shraga Zundel HaLevi Rotenberg of Bendin (Encyclopedia of Hassidism III, p. 350-351), from dynasty of Apta, son of Rebbe Rabbi Yitzchak Menachem Rotenberg of Bendin (passed away in 1939, for additional information related to him see: Encyclopedia of Hassidism II, p. 431). During the lifetime of his father moved to Berlin where he established a Beit Midrash to which Hassidim of Poland residing in Berlin, congregated. Upon the rise of the Nazi regime he was expelled from Germany and moved to Vienna, after which he was apprehended and imprisoned in Dachau. Perished in the Holocaust.

Me'il Tzedaka responsa, Sudilkov, 1835. Many handwritten owner's inscriptions, of the kloiz of Rabbi Berish of Sde-Lavan. On title page stamp with the drawing of a lion, of Rabbi "Avraham Matityahu Freidman A. M. FERIDMAN". [The stamp is similar to other stamps from the 1860-s, of his cousins, rebbes of Sadigura and Boyan: Rabbi Nachum Duber, Rabbi Yitzchak of Boyan and his brother Rabbi Shlomo of Sadigura].
The holy rebbe of Stefáneşti, Rabbi Avraham Matityahu Friedman (1848-1933, Encyclopedia L'Chassidut Volume 1, 131-132), a renowned tzadik son of Rebbe Nachum of Stefáneşti – son of Rabbi Israel of Ruzhin. At the age of twenty one, he succeeded his father and turned Stefáneşti into a most influential Chassidic center. Served as Rebbe for seventy years. His grave was moved to Israel, to the Ruzhin Rebbes' section in "Nachlat Yitzchak" cemetery and is known until today as a venue of salvation where many come to pray.

His maternal grandfather, Rabbi Mordechai Dov Twersky of Horonstipol loved him dearly, as apparent from his responses in the "Emek HaChochma" responsa (Satmar 1928). His father, the 80-year-old rebbe participated in his funeral and eulogized him with much grief.
