Rabbi Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hager, Rebbe of Vishova (1885-1941, Encyclopedia of Hassidism, III, pp. 95-96), son of the "Ahavat Yisrael" of Vizhnitz. From 1908 served as Rabbi of Vizhnitz. From 1921 was Av Beit Din of Vishova, where he established the "Beit Yisrael" Yeshiva. Among leaders of "Aggudat Yisrael" and member of Council of Torah Sages.

Signature and stamp: “Aharon Rata” – Apparently signature of the holy Rebbe Rabbi Aharon (Rabbi Aharale) Roth Rata (1894-1947, Encyclopedia of Hassidism I, 175-178), devoted worshiper of G-D from youth, established study groups for worship of the Creator in Hungary and Jerusalem and named them "Shomrei Emunim". His holy study group in Jerusalem continues until today in the Hassidic courts of "Toldot Aharon", "Shomrei Emunim" and "Toldot Avraham Yitzchak". His books were published in many editions: "Taharat HaKodesh", "Shulchan HaTahor", "Shomer Emunim", "Mevakesh Emunah" and more.

Stamps of Rebbe "Chaim Halberstam Ratzfert" and stamps of Rabbi "Moshe Aryeh Freund Rabbi in Satmar" and Ga'avad of the Eidah Chareidit in Jerusalem.
Rebbe Chaim Halberstam (1885-1942), oldest son of Rabbi Shalom Eliezer of Ratzfert (son of the "Divrei Chaim" of Sanz) lived in the city of Satmar for 40 years where he served as dayan and had his own beit midrash. His maternal grandfather, Rabbi Mordechai Dov Twersky of Horonstipol loved him dearly, as apparent from his responses in the "Emek HaChochma" responsa (Satmar 1928). His father, the 80-year-old rebbe participated in his funeral and eulogized him with much grief.
[2], 84; 37; 34; 44; 31; 59, [1]; 26; 33; 28; 20; 13 leaves. 34.5 cm. Thin paper, fair condition, wear and tear to first and last leaves, colored mildew marks. Few handwritten glosses. Original worn binding.
Apparently, this is a stereotype edition of the first edition, without inner title pages.

After the" Minchat Yitzchak" died was appointed Ga'avad (Chief Rabbi) of the Eidah Chareidit. Was known as a tzadik and miracle worker and many people in need of salvation came to him for blessings. The Rama [Rabbi Moshe Aryeh] Talmud Torah and Yeshiva in Jerusalem and Beit Shemesh are named after him.

1. Sefer Zimrat Ha’aretz, wonderful matters pertaining to the holiness of Eretz Israel, collected from the books of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov. [Lemberg Lvov, 1876]. Damaged copy missing title page and missing additional leaves. Many Kabbalistic and Hassidic glosses, in handwriting written by one of the Breslov Hassidim during the mid 19th century. (On leaf 15/1 he writes “… most of the Torah of our wise rabbi was written after he was in Eretz Israel…”).
2. Sefer Asarah Le’Me’ah, homiletics by Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Veidslov [father of the Rebbe Rabbi Bunim of Peshischa]. Koenigsberg, (1860). Kabbalistic and Hassidic handwritten glosses in same handwriting as that of Sefer Zimrat Ha’aretz.
