Beurei HaZohar, commentary on the Zohar by Rebbe Shneur Zalman of Liadi – the Baal HaTanya. Kopust (Kopys): R. Yisrael Yoffe, [1816].
First edition, printed in the lifetime of the author – the Mitteler Rebbe.
A fundamental book clarifying many concepts of the Arizal's Kabbalah, according to the Chassidic approach. The commentaries on the Zohar, which the Baal HaTanya imparted to his sons and his elite disciples on Shabbat eves, were recorded by his son R. Dov Ber, the Mitteler Rebbe of Lubavitch. The Baal HaTanya taught these commentaries from 19th Kislev 1801 until his final years. [As the teachings are those of the Alter Rebbe, while the writing is by the Mitteler Rebbe, the work is sometimes attributed to either one of the two].
In the foreword, the Mitteler Rebbe describes how "we heard from his inspired mouth, every Shabbat eve, commentaries and explanations of the sayings of the Zohar, one leaf from every portion, for several years, and it is plainly visible to all that divine inspiration rested upon him as he revealed the light of the secrets of the Torah…".
At the end of the foreword, the Mitteler Rebbe describes the method of writing and editing the book: "It is known to all students of my father's teachings that none of the writings contain anything of my own, except when explaining and clarifying in a few places where he was concise, and even that was taken from his teachings elaborated elsewhere".
Rebbe Eliezer Tzvi Safrin of Komarno writes in his preface to his commentary Damesek Eliezer on the Zohar that this was one of the books he relied upon when composing his own commentary.

Imrei Binah, Chassidic explanation of the unity of G-d, by Rebbe Dov Ber of Lubavitch, the Mitteler Rebbe. Part I on the Reading of Shema, and Part II on tzitzit and tefillin. Kopust: R. Yisrael Yoffe, [1821].
First edition, printed in the lifetime of the author, the Mitteler Rebbe.
Imrei Binah is considered the most profound of the books authored and published by the Mitteler Rebbe. The main part of the book is dedicated to clarifying the kabbalistic concepts of divine unity – Yichuda Ilaa and Yichuda Tataa, based on the teachings of his father, the Alter Rebbe, author of the Tanya. The book is divided into four sections: Petach HaShaar, Shaar HaKeriat Shema, Shaar HaTzitzit and Shaar HaTefillin.
The Mitteler Rebbe published ten works during his lifetime, each of which he said was intended for a different kind of person. Imrei Binah was directed at the most profound scholars, and he once even stated that he had written it for his disciple R. Yekutiel Liepler. The Rebbe Maharash of Lubavitch related that he was once experiencing difficulty in grasping chapters 32 and 37 of the book, and he approached his father the Tzemach Tzedek for help in understanding them. However, his father instructed him to go ask R. Yekutiel (Rebbe Rayatz, Limud HaChassidut, p. 30).
Reputedly, the Divrei Chaim, Rebbe of Sanz would study Imrei Binah each night before going to sleep (Sheloshet HaRo'im, Brooklyn 2004, p. 320). The Divrei Chaim also quotes it in his Divrei Chaim on the Torah, Parashat Vayakhel (p. 28b).
Signature on title page: "Mordechai HaLevi Goldring" (the shochet R. Mordechai Goldring on Bonyhád and Brooklyn).

Part II of Siddur Im Dach, with commentary on Shabbat, Rosh Chodesh, festivals and more. Zhitomir edition, published by two grandsons of the Baal HaTanya – R. Shneur son of R. Menachem Nachum of Nizhyn (son-in-law of the Tzemach Tzedek of Lubavitch) and R. Refael Mordechai son of R. Baruch Shmuel (son-in-law of R. Hillel of Paritch).
Holy Names are given a kabbalistic vocalization in some places in this edition, a change reputedly criticized by the Tzemach Tzedek for not being accessible to all.

The discourse Baruch SheAsah Nisim was delivered by the Rebbe Rashab on Tuesday, eve of 20th Kislev 1903, and was recorded in writing by his son, the Rebbe Rayatz, with additional explanations. The discourse was first printed in this booklet, directly from the manuscript of the Rayatz, on the occasion of 10th Shevat – the yahrzeit of the Rebbe Rayatz and the day the Lubavitcher Rebbe took on the mantle of leadership. The booklets were distributed by the Rebbe along with two dollar bills for charity. Inscription on title page and margins of both dollar bills: "From the hand of the Rebbe".
The distribution ceremony of the present booklet is described in Kovetz LeChizuk HaHitkashrut – 29 (pp. 47-48). The distribution was officially announced and took place next to the Rebbe's room for about three and a half hours.

The discourse contains an in-depth explanation on the deeper meaning of the concept of miracles, and explains at length the difference between the revelation of divinity in supernatural miracles and in miracles concealed in nature, along with other foundational Chassidic concepts.
