Issue of "HaMashkif", newspaper of the Revisionist Movement in Israel. Sunday, Iyar 7, 1948.
The headline announces "State of Israel was established". On the first leaf appear photographs of Herzl and Jabotinsky, the text of the Declaration of Independence and "Words by the Chief Commander of Irgun Tzeva'i Leumi", according to which "Etzel abandons the underground within the borders of a free Jewish state" (Hebrew).
55X40.5 cm. Fair-good condition. Stains and paint stains. Small open tears. Torn corner, lacking. Folding marks. Worming.
