Printed Matzah cover. Solomon printing press, Jerusalem, [late 19th century]. Cloth, print; golden threads embroidery. Embroidered inscription in golden threads: “Leshana HaBa’ah BeYerushalayim…” . Printed illustrations of the Western Wall, Tombs of Davidic Kings, tombs of Rashbi and Rabbi Meir Ba’al HaNess. Illustrations of a tiger, eagle, deer and lion appear on top of cloth (according to Pirkei Avot). Diameter: 38 cm. Good condition. Border ribbon slightly unraveled. Probably was not used.
