Embroidered Challah Cover

Embroidered Challah cover [Europe, early 20th century]. Cotton and golden threads embroidery on velvet. A crown is embroidered on the upper part; on both sides the inscription “Zechor et Yom HaShabbat Lekodsho” (remember the Shabbat). Two lions with sticking out tongues appear in the center, flanking a Star of David with the characters of the Ten Commandments, with a wreath of branches and fruit below it. 45X45 cm. Good condition. Some stains and tears on the reverse
