Three Pairs of Torah Finials – Yemen
Three pairs of Torah finials. Yemen, [19th-20th century]. Cast and repouseé brass. The three pairs are of a narrow and elegant shape, typical of Yemenite finials. The body is shaped as a cone, ball or onion; repouseé decorations added to two of the pairs. A sawn brass decoration added to the base of one pair. Height: 27.5 cm; 27.5 cm; 22.5 cm. Fair condition. Bends, breaks and repairs by soldering.
