Esther Scroll on Parchment in Large Letters – “HaMElech” Scroll / Parchment Leaf of Blessings
Esther Scroll on parchment. Oriental script, in exceptionally large letters. [Jerusalem? 20th century]. A parchment leaf is enclosed, [same script as that of the scroll] with opening verses and scroll’s blessings [according to Yemenite congregations’ custom]. Height of parchment: 45 cm. 20 lines per column. Size of letters: approx. 1 cm. Height of parchment leaf: 34 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains and wear. Some tears. Ownership ink-stamps.
