"Your clothes will be as white as snow". Advertisement poster for "Kessem" washing powder, made by "Shemen". Lithographic printing "Monsohn", Jerusalem, [1938]. Design: Franz Kraus.
The designer’s wife, Annie Kraus, was the model for this poster. The factory "Shemen" was established in 1906. One of the first Zionist factories in Eretz Israel, producing oil and soap.
46X67.5 cm. Fair condition, folding marks and minor tears at the margins.
