Wimpel from the circumcision of "Avraham Israel ben Meir Freulich…". Hand drawn and hand painted letters and illustrations.
Above the words "Shabbat Shuva" appears an image of an open book with the words"Shuvah Israel…". On the beginning of the wimple appears a drawing of a sheet with the inscription "Avi Freulich".
Rbbi Avraham Israel Freulich – head of Yeshivah "Chomat Yerushalayim", founder of "Agudat Hovevei HaJudaica" and "Judaica Yerushalem – Society for Documentation of the Ancient Hebrew Book".
Good condition. Stains and unraveled threads.
