Ethrog Container – Contemporary Judaica
Ethrog container. Israel, [late 20th century].
Silver casting; woven silver bands. Marked: 925, M, MSB.
The container is shaped as a woven basket of silver bands with a stripe decorated with flowers and leaves. The lid is covered with leaves (resembling roofing tiles) topped with an Ethrog which serves as a handle to open the container.
Height: 12 cm, width: 16 cm, depth: 11 cm.
